PROGRAM OPTIONS
S.O.U.L. programming is intended to be tailor-made to each hosting organization (school, church, festival, etc.). Below is a sample of what S.O.U.L. could offer. We can suggest to you what kind of programming has been successful in the past. But S.O.U.L. works a bit differently from many similar organizations. Instead of us telling you exactly how our program will be scheduled, we hope that you, as a host, will propose to us exactly what you would like S.O.U.L. to offer to you and your students, audience, community, etc.
Depending on the duration of visit you select, you can choose from any combination of the following:
Presentation for individual classroom (history, language, culture, geography, etc.)
Academic Department presentation
Staff development workshop
Elementary assembly performance
Religious service presentation
Public library presentation
Senior living facility performance
Rotary Club (or other community club) meeting performance
Your Choice!
Hosts who select a full week of programming have the opportunity to host an intensive, comprehensive, and impactful S.O.U.L. experience in their school or community. School hosts may especially find this option useful by inviting S.O.U.L. to teach their unique native songs to their students in preparation for a joint performance. The S.O.U.L. singers can divide their time among several classrooms (history, foreign language, music, etc.) or even several buildings during the week. This extended "residency" option also provides for collaboration and co-sponsorship allowing the greater hosting community to become involved. Programming during the week could incorporate appearances at schools as well as at Rotary Club meetings, festivals, special functions, media appearances, etc.
